Our History

The Kachramanoglou family started producing handmade rugs at the beginning of the 20th century, in Sparta, Asia Minor. In 1922 it moved its activities to Greece where the Kachramanoglou family created a carpet factory in Piraeus. Our History

The house’s beautiful handmade carpets have adorned the most famous Athenian residences and many government institutions since then.

Today the fourth generation of the family, in addition to direct imports from all producing countries (Turkey, Persia, China, India, Pakistan, Egypt, Armenia) continues the tradition, designing and creating carpets of fine aesthetics and unparalleled quality in workshops in Pakistan and of the Indies, preserving undiminished the original taste and artistic sensibility.

The exclusive collaborations of the last years with famous foreign houses from Zurich, Los Angeles, N. York has given a new wider possibility of access to unique collections that create the world fashion in the handmade carpet.

The aim of the house of Kahramanoglou is to maintain the high quality of the collections it gathers, to sell them at their true value, to transmit their deep knowledge and to strengthen trust with the consumer public. All these elements that established him very high in the consciousness of his customers.
